    Halloween season crowds vary more than other holidays. Mid-September weekdays score 40–55, while October weekends climb to 65–80. Halloween Day (Oct 31) and the surrounding weekend are the peak, scoring 75–90. The Oogie Boogie Bash nights at DCA reduce DCA's regular daytime capacity, pushing some guests to Disneyland Park.

    Seasonal Overlays & Entertainment

    Haunted Mansion gets the beloved "Nightmare Before Christmas" overlay, Space Mountain transforms into Ghost Galaxy, and the entire park receives Halloween decorations. The seasonal food offerings, character costumes, and atmosphere make this a fan-favorite time to visit. Cars Land at DCA becomes "Haul-O-Ween" with themed overlays.

    Oogie Boogie Bash

    This separately-ticketed after-hours event at DCA sells out quickly — often within days of going on sale. If you're planning to attend, purchase tickets as soon as they're available (typically in late June/early July). The event runs select nights from mid-September through Halloween.
